In Galera, some traditions are best told over a shared meal. Jueves Lardero is an invitation to head into the countryside for a gathering where the landscape, conversation and familiar flavours all play a part.
Spanish omelette, hornazo bread, traditional pork products and local wine belong to the customary picnic spread. Beyond the individual recipes, the pleasure lies in preparing the food, coming together and sharing a tradition that connects village life with the surrounding countryside.
